people might want to practice using things that aren't weapons, too... like magic and stuff. I don't know how common that is yet but you might want to prepare for it eventually. I don't even know how you'd incorporate it or keep people from hurting each other... training dummies maybe?
maybe he and the prof can work something out for how to work on magic then? i know my sword can cast it but i don't know anything more than that right now

we can add magic later on, yeah. right now i'd like to find out if we can handle just the weapons part first before we add anything else
it also gives us time to figure out how to make that happen, too
