We may not know each other very well yet, or maybe at all! I've only seen one battle here, but the amount of bravery and care that people have shown for one another both on and off of the battlefield lets me know I'm part of something special. People have lost their homes and loved ones, and while we can't bring those back, I know that there are people here to believe in. And I'm very lucky to get to fight alongside them.
It's not much, but I hope you enjoy a few snacks that I've made! A full tummy always makes me feel better. Maybe we can share a snack together in person sometimes soon.
Sincerely,
Orihime Inoue & Kou-kun

The package is wrapped in pink and blue paper. When unwrapped, your character will find three cute little animal-themed pastries! (You're welcome to decide which three.) They have a sweet bread outer layer and some curious fillings...
Purrfect Kitty is very pleased and ready to be eaten! It is filled with some sort of chopped meat, reminiscent of a BBQ Pork bun.
Sleeping Froggy knows it's delicious. It's filled with a MYSTERY FLAVOR...which is either a sour green apple or...seaweed?
Friendly Puppy isn't supposed to have chocolate, but it's filled with it anyway. Don't tell anyone!
Cute Chicky is filled with a egg-flavored cream. Yeah, that one actually isn't surprising, although maybe a little morbid when you think about it.

Dear Orihime,
I've only seen one battle here, too, and it was pretty awful. War is a terrible thing. It only made me more resolute to stop it. I think we can find peace between Blanc and Noir, even if they've been fighting since long before we got here. It's important for the citizens of both countries if they want to live their lives happily, and I think it's the key to helping us all get home.
Thank you for the pastries, too! They were really good. I already ate all of mine, and Mikleo yelled at me because I was too full for dinner afterward. It was totally worth it, though. Do you have a recipe? If you don't want to share it, that's fine too. I just thought I'd ask.
I hope you're having a good day!

Sorey-san,
I'm so glad you enjoyed the pastries! I do have a recipe, though I have to admit that I had some of the chefs here help me with the fillings. They're with this letter!
Do you really think we could find a compromise? I don't know much about the history of this conflict, but if I could save people, I agree.
Please take care,

He ends up writing a lot because he's a bit of a history nerd. Sorry, Orihime.]
Orihime,
Thank you for the recipe! I'm going to give them to Mikleo, if that's okay. He's better at cooking than I am, and I know he wanted the recipe too. Maybe we can get together and share what we've made someday.
I can't seem to find anything specifically, either, and that really bothers me. I think the war is based on territory but you have to consider other differences, like the way Blanc and Noir approach magic. There's a bunch of clues and they do add up. What we're looking at is an ideological conflict. It would also explain the lack of information on various things: like how the war actually started, and of course, how to use advanced magic. That's probably the biggest one.
Wars of faith and belief tend to be hard to stop with the traditional ways. Like, an arranged marriage won't get rid of the cultural differences. In the past-- on my world, at least-- it usually took a huge shift in power to make real peace happen. So... we're looking at a change in leadership, probably on the Noir side, if we want things to go differently. It might not even be Noir's ruler who is pushing for the war, but we need to find out who is and stop them. Easier said than done, right?
We just need a little more to go on. There are so many things we just don't know, but if we keep our eyes and ears open and look to the past, I'm sure we can figure something out!

Sorey-san,
Of course! Please share them with whoever you would like. I promise they're not a secret!
I see. So it might even be that people don't know how it started if it's been so embedded in the history of both kingdoms. I never thought about the magic aspect...I've seen some abilities that many people would consider magic, but it's actually a manipulation of different life energies. I wonder if this place is the same?
If it was an easy job they wouldn't have called us in. Even if we didn't ask for this, we're here now. Maybe we can make a difference, right? I agree! We just have to keep trying!
Take care,
- Orihime
